Eaton Rapids Water Treatment

1. water is brought into the plant and run through different sized rocks to get out all of the big things. then there is chlorine and fluoride added to the water to kill the chemicals.

2.     there is the main room where the people sit and there is a gauge that shows the amout of water in the towers. If the water gets to low they go into another room and turn on the pumps tp fill the tanks back up.
there is over one million gallons of water in the water towers.
when they clean the water the first thing they do is send it through big tanks filled with different sized rocks to filter out all of the unwanted minerals. then they add chlorine and fluoride to the water to kill the dangerous chemicals in the water. they have a giant pump that pulls water from the wells at a very fast rate. there is over 1.5 million gallons of water in the ground. if the power goes out they have a generator that can power the pump for as long as they need.
